Editing The Artist or Ablum Name for Multiple Tracks in iTunes

I hate having to edit the artist name and album name for each track that I import to iTunes. It's a real pain. I found the answer to my question:

How do you edit the artist name or album name (or both) for each song that you add to iTunes? There has to be a faster way to do this!

Here is how you can edit multiple tracks (or songs) in Itunes:

1) If your tracks are all together in one spot, hold down the shift key from the first song in the list to the last one. If your tracks have other tracks mixed in between them on the list, then select each track individually with the command key.

2) Then right click (on a mac, you tap two fingers at once on the track pad) and choose "Get Info". Another shortcut to get here is to hit the command key + I

3) This window will pop up: "Are you sure you want to edit information for multiple items?"

4) Click the "Edit Items" Button.

5) A window will pop up with a list of items that look like they are grayed out (or read only), but you can actually edit these fields.

6) Click "OK" and now you have your tracks with the artist name. Problem solved!
